1. Smashbox responds to Urban Decay's original Naked Palette with their Full Exposure Palette. It has 14 neutral shades in it in two different formulas—shimmer and matte—so you can mix and match however you'd like. It also makes it incredibly easy to create both day and evening looks. (Or, if you work in a really laidback office, shimmer for day, too!) I like that it includes several grays and blacks, along with the dark browns so you can create many versions of the smoky eye. Plus, this palette is fabulous for travel because you don't have to pack other eye products. Genius.
2. Urban Decay is introducing the Naked Ultra Nourishing Lipglosses. The glosses are available in nine different shades from nudes to deeper hues. They also have smart packaging that lets you see the shades through the tube. The formula is shiny with a high gloss finish. Now, I need another lip gloss like I need a hole in the head, but you can bet I'll be lining up to buy at least a couple as soon as they're in stores.
3. I've been using Stila's Smudge Stick Waterproof Eyeliners for years because they're amazing. I love the texture, the ability to blend them, the fact that they last forever, and the waterproof formula. (I've been known to cry at Lifetime TV movies, so this is a plus.) Their spring makeup for 2014, includes a whopping 31 different shades. Nearly every color of the rainbow is represented, including a matte lemon yellow called Canary. I don't know when I would have the occasion to use a yellow eyeliner, but I love knowing one is available should I ever get the desire. Thanks, Stila!
This is just a little taste of what spring has in store for us, I can't wait to see more!
