It’s that time of year again when we all start to get the travel itch. What is it about spring that makes us want to wander? Is it because it’s finally warm enough outside that we can leave our houses without freezing our butts off? Maybe.

If you’re not already planning your summer vacations, girls’ weekends, summer bachelorette parties, and other warm-weather sojourns, you’re running late. You may have lost out on super-sale fares, and we can’t help you with that. What we can help you with is packing, because the most important question after “Where am I going to go?”  is “How is my makeup going to get there?”

Diane Von Furstenburg “Mantra” Cosmetics Case—“Glamour is shine and confidence,” says this bag. Repeat as needed until it’s a way of life. ($148.50, Beautybar.com)

Lolo Avery “Blake” Cosmetic Case—Bright and punchy, these vinyl cases store all your essentials in beach-inspired style. ($48, Lolobag.com)

Sonia Kashuk for Target Colorblock Foldover Clutch—So well-priced, you could get one in every color and style. Plus, this one could double as a cute going-out clutch, too. ($16.99, Target)

IIIBeCa by Joy Gryson “Beach Street” Cosmetics Case—If you’re city-tripping, carry your beautifiers in this buttoned-up satchel. It contains a drawstring liner that comes out to work on its own. ($78, Nordstrom.com)

Vera Bradley Mirror Cosmetic Case—Never be caught without a mirror again. This bag is spacious enough for everything you need (plus a mirror!), yet it still fits in a purse. ($28, Verabradley.com)
