Easter-Perfect Pastels: Spring Makeup We Love

I love Easter. LOVE it. I wait for it year-round. My affection for the holiday is mostly candy-related (helloo, Cadbury Crème Eggs!), but these few weeks in early spring also make me want to deck myself out in the girliest, frilliest, pastel-iest makeup possible. I’m even looking into a bonnet. Preferably one with some sort of giant flower festoonment or possibly a live rabbit on top. (Or both.)

The tricky thing about wearing pastel makeup is keeping it modern and edgy, not little-girlish or nursing home-esque. These products are pastel, but still retain a bit of bite. They’re how grown-up ladies trick themselves out like Easter eggs. Besides stuffing my face with chocolate, here’s how I’m celebrating spring’s promise of renewal.
