Going under the knife seems to be the rapid form of making face overnight. Vanity, a word that I would define as a fascination of our looks can make or break us. There are valid reasons why women choose to inject Botox and I am not implying that it’s a procedure that should not be performed. However, it is an individual’s prerogative to choose the way they want their wrinkles removed.
At the Enhance Face and Body Spa in Hartsdale, New York … “People will say, ‘Oh, you look rested and fresh … they don’t say, ‘Who did your face?’” says Carol Hanson Tyson, who specializes in facial rejuvenation with acupuncture.
I have seen women with excellent results with cosmetic facial surgery, especially celebrities, and there have been horrific stories of women being butchered. According to Acupuncture, many celebrities have had Acupuncture Facial Rejuvenation but due to their privacies, the doctors are not allowed to mention any names publicly. Acupuncture facial rejuvenation is no secret treatment that has not been recognized even by the rich and famous.
Personally, I am terrified to consider going under the knife. I was lucky to inherent good features and genes. Thank you mom and dad! I guess I cannot complain.
Unfortunately, some women are not happy with their looks and do not accept aging and wrinkles as a natural process of aging. At the Red Mountain Spa in St. George, Utah, acupuncturists Pat Mathews says that, “the brain gets the signal … increasing the body’s production of collagen and elastin, proteins that our skin loses as we age“.
Acupuncture works with Qi, an energy that circulates throughout the body through channels called meridians. An Acupuncturist will sit and look at the patient and ask questions about their symptoms and medical history before beginning any type of treatment.
Since my major is Alternative Medicine and this month’s class is ‘The Principles of Acupuncture’, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to stop by Dr. Ahuva Gamliel’s office. Dr. Ahuva Gamliel is an Acupuncture Physician who’s has two offices in North Miami Beach and Fort Lauderdale, FL, (who happens to also be a professor at the University where I attend), to consult with her on beginning an alternative facial rejuvenation regime.
I called and spoke to Dr. Gamliel and asked her why she chose to specialize in this form of treatment and she said that she is fascinated by the results that her patients are experiencing with the treatments. “Acupuncture Facial Rejuvenation is a natural, safe, non-toxic, alternative to Botox and face-lifts: homeopathic collagen facial injections”.
If I could help change the way women felt about themselves and their bodies and tell them about an alternative natural way to cosmetic surgery, I would be performing a natural procedure that is cost effective and doing something that I love and make a good living at it!
