Five Minutes to Soft Hands with Organic Coconut Honey Sugar Scrub

This quick and easy beauty recipe can be mixed together in your hands, over the kitchen sink. It doesn’t get any easier than that. I love this scrub because it’s made of a few simple ingredients you probably have on hand in the kitchen, it smells absolutely wonderful (and you won’t die if you decide to taste it) and your hands feel wonderful when you’re done. I am not kidding about mixing this over the sink, because it does get a little bit messy.
1 tablespoon organic honey
1 tablespoon organic unrefined virgin coconut oil
1 tablespoon organic cane sugar
Mix together in the palm of your hand and rub into your palms. The mixture starts out forming a solid paste, but quickly liquefies as the coconut oil reaches body temperature.

Scrub into skin on hands, fingers, forearms, even elbows (is good for knees and feet as well, but for that you might consider moving to the tub). Don’t forget to inhale deeply and enjoy the absolutely delicious coconut and honey smell while you scrub. And if you can’t resist tasting it, there are no foul tasting ingredients to ruin the experience. Just remember, this is for your skin, so you can’t lick your fingers clean!

Rinse with warm water after a thorough scrubbing. You might be tempted to wash the residual oil off with some soap, but just towel dry and wait a few minutes for the oil to absorb into your skin. Afterward your hands will be soft, silky and left with just a light coconut scent to enjoy!
