World Bag
Show off your worldliness every time you leave the house with this cute but sturdy cotton/canvas shopping bag. It was designed to replace those pesky plastic bags---and even peskier "I'm not a plastic bag" bags---but I’d hate to limit its exposure to the marketing crowd. I"ll be using mine to fetch my daily bits around my city, and to remind me of other cities I need to shop in.

Sigg Water Bottle
I'm not quite ready to financially commit to solar electricity or a hybrid car or even a hemp sofa, but I can still make a big difference in a small financial way by simply swapping my plastic bottle for a reusable (and recyclable) bottle like this one by Sigg. I picked this pretty purple butterfly design and went all out to add my favorite cap for an extra dollar.

Lazer Scissors
I just went from MacUseless to MacGyver with this nifty pair of lazer scissors. No more jagged edges or patched packages for me; I simply point the scissors and cut along the projected lazer line. Genius! You too can cut a straight line, and just in the nick of time too (as was always the way with MacGyver) for the upcoming holiday wrapfest.
