I had a funny feeling after two of my work friends left work tonight that revenge was on its way. Sure enough, as I pulled into my neighborhood I saw something wasn’t quite right with my house. Three cars and several teenagers on bikes were stopped in front of my house and I just started laughing … and four hours later I haven’t stopped. Someone finally got revenge on me after all my years of pranking friends and co-workers.
I sat in my car in my driveway for a minute texting other work friends to figure out who knew about it and who actually did it. When I get out of the car my neighbors are video taping me and laughing their butts off … my neighbors whom I love and would expect to stop this from happening actually helped my work friends pull it off.
The boys at work managed to wrap my house in plastic wrap and then wrapped all of my patio furniture and grill together on the back porch. My HOA president attempted to call the police and our management company to figure out what was going on until my loving neighbors stopped him. When I arrived home, he was sitting in the neighbor’s driveway with a beer waiting for me to come home and many more people stopped to look and laugh as I attempted to remove at least two rolls of industrial size plastic wrap from my house.
I’m waiting for the video so I can post it on YouTube … and thank you, boys, for the payback I’ve so longed deserved, entertaining my neighborhood, and making the day of my cancer stricken neighbor … I deserved it and she needed it.
