Claire Danes has been impressing us with her acting skills since My So-Called Life. In 2010, she won an Emmy for her role in the HBO movie Temple Grandin. Afterward, there was a lull in her career where she considered giving up on the business. In an interview in the August issue of Vogue she says, "It was grim. I was very hurt. Two years of not working was brutal." Luckily things started to pick up and she snagged the role of Carrie Mathison in Showtime's acclaimed series, Homeland. The role earned her two Golden Globe awards, another Emmy, and a fashionable photo shoot with her co-star Damien Lewis in the latest issue of Vogue. It look likes giving up never pays off.
