Russell Brand Kicked Out of "GQ" After-Party for Offensive Nazi Jokes

Sometimes even Russell can push the envelope just a bit too far.

Leave it to British comedian Russell Brand to make a happy, fun event scandalous and offensive.

The 38-year-old comic was reportedly kicked out of the GQ Men of the Year Awards after-party when he made an offensive joke about the event's sponsor, designer Hugo Boss.

As Russell accepted the Oracle award he said, "If anyone knows a bit about history and fashion, you know it was Hugo Boss who made uniforms for the Nazis… But, let's face it, they looked fucking fantastic while they were killing people on the basis of their religion and sexuality."

Russell took to Twitter to defend his statement.

What do you think of Russell's joke—was he making a valid point or just being tasteless?
