I decided to publish a list of some things I am thankful for. I like reading other people’s lists so please feel to comment with things you are thankful for!
In NO particular order: mornings, fresh focaccia bread, coffee (espresso), birds, bikes, bike riding, being able to worship freely and without fear, reading, knowledge, blended frozen caramel cafes, walks, walks with people I enjoy, the handful of people who love me without requiring anything in return, hugs that are so strong and full of love that they squeeze out every bit of sadness, loneliness and doubt, trees, Lake Michigan, apple cider (hot or cold), The Cross, green eyes, polar bears, the cosmos, guidance from the Holy Spirit, pianos, guitars, violins and harps, my camera, pigment and paintbrushes, sunsets, sunrises, earl grey, my good health, a rare and special personality, pumpkins, my pastors, tomorrow, sisters (all kinds), pizza, pomegranate, chocolate, hot chocolate, candles, baseball, strong, sincere laughter, Braelynn, Alex, Emma and Sean, colored paper, full honesty, regardless of how rare or scary it may be, giving, and the ability to do so, perfect summer breezes, apple blossoms, cherry blossoms, raspberries, colorful canopies of autumn trees, hand-me-downs (all of my best clothes come from my sister), world wide communication, electricity, bollywood (yes it’s true and I don’t feel bad about it), parks, cotton, sleep, the incomparable Word of God, potatoes, a warm bed, white Christmas lights, roommates, the little bit of money I have in my pocket.
What are you thankful for?
