I have been missing in action. Why? A lot going on. Right now I am vacationing with my oldest Granddaughter in Texas. We are enjoying the sights, food, family and friends. This is my grand daughters first trip to Texas. We went sightseeing today know place special. This is not home for me so I do not know my way around here. Before coming to Texas we were in Shreveport, Louisiana where I was born. There was a little more excitement there due to my ninety-four-year-old Aunt. She kept us busy going here and there. We went to a great restaurant called Superiors Grill, excellent Mexican cuisine. It was crowded and is considered to be the place about town to go.
Vacationing with a teenager is not the easiest thing to do because, their interests are so different. They want to be where things or happening, live and exciting. She has not complained on the trip but I know she wants to do more so she will have something to share when we go back to California.
Tomorrow we will be going out and will also see a movie before returning to the house. The weather has been in the three-figure range, and neither of us are accustomed to hot weather with humidity. Until next stay cool.
