Sara Lynn, Love By Lynn
Sara from Love By Lynn is the queen of rocking crop tops. And it isn't hard to see that she looks beyond amazing while doing so. One way that you can wear these tops is to pair them with a fun matching bottom. Monochromatic looks are totally in for spring and summer. It looks super chic and fresh. Pair with some chunky boots like Sara did, or sex it up with classic black heels.
Aimee Song, Song of Style
Aimee, the blogger behind Song of Style, has the french chic look down with this navy and white number. One tip that we can take from Aimee is to keep the bottom modest and loose while rocking a tighter figure-flattering crop. I always try to have opposite fits like loose on the bottom and tight on top, or vice versa. It's not only very flattering but is more comfortable as well. Another great tip for more athletic figured gals: Try wearing strappy heels or sandals to elongate the leg.
One of my favorite boho bloggers that is constantly inspiring me is Sara Libby. (Seriously love her!) This also happens to be one of my favorite ways to wear crop tops: high-waisted jeans. No only are they modest—your tummy is covered up, after all!—they are super comfortable because you don't feel the need to constantly suck in your stomach while you wear a crop. Throw on a cute statement necklace and some fun chunky boots, and you are good to go!
Mary Seng, Happily Grey
I am absolutely obsessed with Mary from Happily Grey. She has the effortlessly chic look down. I'm a sucker for stripes so this is my go-to pattern when I reach for a crop. It adds some interest to the top without being too overdone. Once again, high-waisted pieces are always the way to go when wearing these sexy tops. Just like Mary, I love pairing tight pencil skirts with crop tops. It's basically like a body con dress with more details. You still get the figure-flattering look like a body con, but the slit of skin in the middle is so chic and unexpected!
McKenna, McKenna Bleu
Not only is this look on Mckenna from McKenna Bleu chic, it is also super flattering and the pop of color with the maxi is stunning. A great tip to take from McKenna, is to keep the crop simple and focus on the bottom half and the accessories to tone down the "wow" effect of the crop. I think this is a gorgeous look for anyone who might be on the fence when it comes to crops. Make the plunge this spring with this colorful ensemble.
Shay D., All Things Slim
Shay from All Things Slim has the cool-girl look down. Her white high-waisted jeans cover her tummy and allows the bright pink blazer to take center stage. Throwing a jacket over a crop top is a great way to add some coverage, and I especially love the way she plays with proportions. A pair of nude pumps elongates the legs and keeps the focus up top.
Maria Sancho, Stylissim
Graphic crop tops are huge this spring, and I'm especially loving the way Maria from Stylissim styled her cheeky tee. A pair of boyfriend jeans tones down the sexiness of a crop top and gives off a casual cool-girl vibe. Wear it with heels or a sweet pair of sneakers and statement sunglasses for an instant style score.
Annabelle Fleur, Vivaluxury
Jacey Duprie, Damsel in Dior
Jacey of Damsel in Dior is the queen of classic and feminine looks, and I love the way she layered this perforated crop top over a floral dress. The textures and colors are perfect for spring! Add a few simple gold accessories, like dainty rings and classic bangles. This is another fun way to avoid showing skin but still play with proportions.
Adriana Gastélum, Fake Leather
Lastly is Adriana of Fake Leather. A structured crop top balances a more boho bottom, like these trendy patterned trousers. (Bonus! The high-waist, wide-leg style also makes you look taller.) The inverted-V cut of the top gives the illusion of a slimmer figure, drawing the eye up. Adriana's clean black and white palette looks fresh for spring. Itching for some color? Add a statement necklace or bright bag.
