Fall Denim Guide: The Styles You Need This Season

There's one thing that is always on our fall shopping lists and that's a new pair of jeans (or five). To help you sift through the myriad fall jean options out there, we collected the best skinny jeans, boyfriend jeans, printed jeans, coated jeans, and flare jeans for fall!

Skinny Jeans
The first fall jeans style that should be on your list is skinny jeans. A darker wash is sophisticated and flattering. Skinny jeans this season are cut a little higher—about ankle length—which is perfect for showing off an amazing pair of pumps, or roll the hems a few times to wear them with ankle boots. We bet these dark wash skinny jeans will be the ones you reach for most often this fall!

Boyfriend Jeans
Slouchy boyfriend jeans are chic in an effortless, laid-back way. The fit is looser and so comfortable, so these might quickly become your favorite fall jeans! We love distressed boyfriend jeans for stylish weekend outfits worn to football games and other outdoor adventures. Juxtapose the relaxed fit with a tailored top and heels

Printed Jeans
We haven't quite had our fill of colored jeans, but printed jeans for fall are higher on our radar. You probably won't be surprised at the endless options out there when it comes to printed jeans. Among the prints we're loving on fall denim: jewel-toned Aztec prints, tapestry prints, black-and-white prints, camo prints, and animal prints. And there are equally endless ways to wear printed denim this season.

Coated Jeans
Wax-coated jeans are treated to look like leather pants—another one of our favorite fall trends. But coated jeans are significantly cheaper than real leather pants and might feel more comfortable, too. Coated jeans will make any outfit look luxe. Wear them with anything you'd wear with skinny jeans! We love them with oversized sweaters and ankle boots.

Flare Jeans
Flare jeans can be flattering and fun to style. Look for trouser or wide-leg flare jeans that are looser in the thighs but have flares that aren't the size of your hip. These are more flattering than flare jeans that are super tight and then flare dramatically at the knee—those can make your legs look short and no one wants that! Style these boho jeans with a black blouse and felt hat this fall.
