It’s a nice impulse to use a holiday like Valentine’s Day to put some excitement back into your relationship. Whether you’re newly dating or you’ve been married for ages, variety is the spice of life. Bravo. So grab yourself some lacy panties and wear that expensive body lotion that otherwise never comes out of the cabinet.   But hold on there, don’t go too far—there’s a big difference between some classy lace underthings and zippered, latexed, ruffled confections that some stores try to pass off as “Valentine’s Day” lingerie. For while they may technically be called lingerie (inasmuch as they do cover your bits), there’s not much that these getups will do to improve your relationship.
