I'm tired of these skinny bitches

What's funny about all of that is being too thin actually makes you look older. Terri Hatcher looks just horrible in my opinion. Her thinness really shows her age. If only she would add a bit of fat to her face she would be beautiful again. Gone are the days of Marilyn Monroe when looking like a woman was celebrated. I blame Twiggy XD

Self Obsession ..its a tragic thing to see in this day and age! Geesh based on the amount of advocacy we women have been up to declaring to the world how modern,sophisticated and self confident we are; I thought we were way past the "stick thin figure" trend..But I do feel sorry for these celebrities.

All I know is that I see my 10 year old sister checking herself out in the mirror, stressing over finding the "perfect" jeans, and talking about "getting fat" and I wonder, what kind of environment are we creating for these young women? We have a huge responsibility to change the focus on outer beauty to a focus on accomplishments and self-confidence.

Not only that, it makes us healthy sized women think that skin and bones is the only ideal beauty. It is a standard of beauty that is completely unreaistic and unattainable. It promotes detrimental eating disorders and poor body image in women. In a media obsessed culture, skinny is in. After all that is all the media portrays to us on a daily basis. In fashion magazines, on tv, movies, celebrities. If a celebrity is a healthy weight, and not ridiculously skinny they get hated on big time by tabloids. What kind of unhealthy message are we trying to send our youth? Im sick of it too....
