Out On the Red Carpet
It’s only the 2nd award show of the season and the celebrities are going to be pulling out all the stops. What do you think celebrities are going to be wearing? Zac Posen, Oscar de la Renta, or Badgley Mischka. Then there is the ultimate question of the best and worst dressed on the Red Carpet.

I forgot about Helena Bonham Carter, Veronica! She's always good for something tacky! You're right on Keira - I'm sure her hipbones will be jutting through. Cate Blanchett usually looks great - it'll be interesting to see what she's wearing.

I love the red carpet, especially the jewelry and the best/worst dressed pictures. Helena Bonham Carter is a shoo in to be on the worst dressed, as usual. She always manages to look demented and perhaps in need of a good bath. Keira Knightley will look good but bony, and Gwyneth Paltrow could go either way. For someone who is supposedly such a fashion icon she shows up in a lot of odd, unflattering clothing - witness the latest pictures with a floppy pink bow obscuring her neck and face. She looked like she got fashion advice from the Easter Bunny. All the pregnant hollywood stars should make a good showing with, I hope, some striking jewels to to with the baby bumps. I hope Tilda Swinton will be there because she is so interesting in her fashion choices. Also Julie Christie, who remains amazingly beautiful and elegant.

I wonder if the strike will affect the dresses? I read somewhere that designers have to work months in advance, and since people have been operating under the assumption that the Oscars aren't happening, I'm curious to see what the celebs will show up wearing. Should be an interesting red carpet!

I think this year's award show Red Carpet is going to be all about color. Since celebrities haven't been able to show off on and off screen, everyone is going to go ALL OUT this year. The Red Carpet is one of my favorite parts, since the Oscars are so long.
