American Teen and The Breakfast Club

My daughter and I went to a screening of American Teen this weekend. A documentary I really enjoyed. I was struck by the similarities between that documentary and "The Breakfast Club" it seems that we forget or try to once we become parents what it was like to be a teenager. I was my daughter's age when I saw the Breakfast Club. I recommend watching both this summer with your teen and sharing the feeling you may have had watching the Breakfast Club and then asking your teen about their feelings with American Teen.
