Is Palin a quiter?

Oh my God… she stepped down as Mayor of Alaska. Why? Her answer is very vague. Does she have a future as a.)Talk show host b.)Lucrative book deal c.)Presidential hopeful, or d.) SAHM. What will she do? Is this good for Alaska or bad? Did she crack under the pressure, or is she jumping on the Obama ship too? What do you think?

I would imagine Alaskans are saddened by this development. I mean, she did give good interviews and all. And take all them kids on taxpayer funded vacations! What’s not to like Tawnia?

Man you are great at putting words in my mouth! Never said I hated her, where did you get that idea? Down below I say "she is a great gal". As far as my typos go, I make them all the time, it comes with typing. I don’t hate anyone, and I NEVER said I did. I also NEVER gave my opinion on Obama, or what party I support. Stop assuming! I think there are plenty of Governors that are men that are idiots. But cyclops this forum is not about that! This forum is about Palin. If you want to discuss something else start another forum about it! This forum has nothing to do with abortion, or human rights. WE are talking about why Palin left office!I think Palin left office to cash in on a better deal… PERIOD! STOP ASSUMING! You don’t know me or anything about me.

Sarah

Say whatever you want. You hatred of her stems from her very feminine love and compassion towards children’s rights. A love and compassion you did not have. Maybe she quit because taking care of a downs syndrome baby and having a grandchild fathered by an imbicile in her house was more than she could handle while being governor.. Notice no one in the hateful liberal media even considers that. You weren’t making a joke when you called her the mayor of Alaska any more than you were making a joke when you misspelled quitter. Really now. You and anyone can disagree with her, but she is not unqualified. Nobody who has a run a state – especially a popular governor who did a good job – is unqualified to be president. Obama never did, and he was only in the senate for about 100 days before he kicked off his presidential campaign. But he’s a man, so like all other male governors – you won’t be saying ever that he was or is unqulaified. That’s my main point. Find for me a male governor who was attacked in the media for being unqualified. Forget about the rest of the issues. (as for you abortion comment, human rights will never vanish Tawnia, and if one has no human rights, then nobody has them – just like slavery)

The forum is not to discuss what a foolish twit she is. It is to discuss WHY SHE STEPPED DOWN! Please read the forum topic above for clarification.I called her mayor as a joke, to those that would get it. I never stated my opinion on her until now. Let’s just put it this way. SP is as capable to run a country, state, city, PTA meeting as you are at working at a pro-abortion clinic! Which in turn means she is not capable, and neither are you!

The reason there is so much hate and sexist bile thrown at Palin is because she is pro life.

No you are wrong. She gets hate and bile thrown at her because she is not capable at her job, she lacks expierence, an can’t form a logical thought ob her own. Her stance on abortion is of no consequence, to why she is not popular, or why most people think she is an idiot. Back to an earlier statement, just because she has a uterus doesn’t obligate me or anyone else to agree with her! If Palin is a twit, and you shudder to think what I am, then that means there hasn’t even been a term yet invented to describe you, and your "think the whole world revolves around abortion attitude". But I can think of one choice word that describes you!

Sarah

Dana, you can say what you want about Gov. Sanford – I agree with you. He should step down immediately. So should Bill Clinton have stepped down. Gore would have won easily in 2000 if Bill had done the right thing – but Bill cares nothing for anyone but Bill. Sanford was at least having an affair with a woman that wasn’t 1/3 his age. But he wasn’t trading human organs like the 44 scumbags in NJ arrested yesterday. The bluest states in the union (NJ, IL, NY, RI, DC) are also the most corrupt. No coincidence there.

Sarah

Tawnia, YOU are the one who decided to start a thread talking about what a foolish twit a woman you don’t like is – and called her the "Mayor of Alaska." That’s here for all of us to see right abouve where we are writing. It speaks for itself. If she’s a "twit," well, I shudder to think what that makes you. The reason there is so much hate and sexist bile thrown at Palin is because she is pro life. Bay-Hutchins gets no such hate because she is wishy washy on the subject, and the pro abortion people who run our national media like that. That is why it is relevant here.

Dana

I grow tired of arguing a point with someone who believes she knows what I think before I say it. As I posted, I could recite names for HOURS of the male politicians that I believe are incompetent. Yes, there are many democrats who fit that. There are probably an equal number of Republicans. Newt Gingrich comes to mind. My point was not partisan in the least, and your continually harping on my "far left" partisan bias is annoying. As it happens, I live near Gov Sanford, and he came to mind quickly. I found him to be a smug, condescending jerk and believed he was grandstanding with an eye on the White House when he very vocally refused refused Federal funds for SC schools. So no, I didn’t find him to be worthy prior to his affair.

I bet she knew that she was a GOVERNOR and not a Mayor

Glad you caught that cyclops! I like Palin, I think she is a great gal! I would love to go out and have a beer with her, I just don’t want that twit in any office, let alone the Oval Office! Nothing to be jealous about! I think all mothers would agree, a knocked-up teen, and a shitty career is nothing to be jealous about. I think you are jealous of her cyclops! I was actually going to say she stepped down as President of the PTA! But I didn’t think anyone would get it. Back on topic, I think she left office to cash in on her 15 minutes of fame, and try to squeeze some cash out of the deal! There would be no need for her to leave her MAYOR office, if she was chasing Pres of Vice Pres. I like Palin, I just don’t think her or her idiot running mate ever have or had a snowballs chance in hell of running this country:) I think Alaska will be better off without her in the long run :) Cyclops this issue has nothing to do with abortion… SO PLEASE STOP TALKING ABOUT IT!!!!

Sarah

I agree with your commentary regarding Mr. Sanford, and your critique of his lunatic comments regarding his family also. There is a philandering Bill Clinton/John Edwards/Ted Kennedy/Elliot Spitzer/Gary Hart lurking in a lot of republican politicians also. But one has to notice that the dems seem to have the edge in terms of numbers – and these guys NEVER run out of women who are more than happy to oblige them, it must be said. Only Ashley Dupree ever charged directly for her services – including the no condom bonus of $1500. I notice your reference is only to one republican man – so again your extreme far left partisan bias is on display. But none of this is this point here. The point is that you would not have – before the affair – called him unqualified and too dumb to run for higher office. niether would anyone in the media. Only Palin gets this label. And she was a very popular governor who has done a better job than Sanford. As a governor of the only state in the union that only borders 2 other countries, her statement that she had more foreign policy hands on experience was dead on correct. Any man who said that would never have been questioned about it – but Palin gets lambasted in our hopelessly corrupt media. Again, I am not Palin’s biggest fan. I am a socialist. But the sexist, hateful diatribes against her are nothing more than that. And we all know it. It’s just that partisans are partisans and they cannot think for themselves. They follow the corporate media like lambs to the slaughter.
