Wow! This helped me today! I am already moving! If I don't write a to do list I meander instead of "getting er done". Thank you for the inspiration.

Hi Girls!!!!!!!! I carry with me a small notebook that has a small area that I made for a to do list. The thing I feel about to-do lists is that many people put to many tasks on them and at the end of the day they are dissapointed that everything was not done. Then stress sets in. Why set yourself up for a possible dissapointment. My notebook has a little area that you can fit 5 things to do, the other space is my 3-4 must do list for that day, ex... Go to bank, clean and sort pantry, Create grocery list. The must do are more important than the to-do's. Then I have a copy on each page od my morning routine. and my nightly routines, so you are able to get your routines done, and your 3-4 must do, and then your to do's, and don't take a to do that is actually a project and apply it, A project is something that needs to be broken down into tasks. The tasks can be part of your to do's. I have another area where I place my projects and I give it a name and a goal date for completion. then i start numbering the small tasks with how many days and mins. per day to do a task for that project. Give the tasks a name. Then I have a notes area where I write down phone numbers or e-mail address I get, or a doctors appt. that needs to be remember. At night I go and place the things where they belong. ex... Address book, and calender. I take my notebook with me everywhere. This works for me, gives ne alot less stress. It makes for alot of happier days, though I am an adult living with ADD.

I cannot live without my to do list. It helps to keep me focused. I review it everynight before bed to make sure nothing is missing. Ally-- I think it is a great idea to have a dream list. I will start one for myself this weekend.

I have a deep respect for each and every type of list. I look at a list as a well-organized machine. There are times when my life does not feel well-organized, but I can always take pleasure in my lists. They remind me of balance. They help me set goals and they let me feel a sense of accomplishment when I complete a task. Currently, they are pretty much my life! I have in my own personal repertoire grocery lists, meal planning lists, to do lists, cleaning lists, contact lists, holiday planning lists, lists of bills to pay and when to pay them, etc.

Having a to do list is so helpful. I even plan out my weekend so I can can spend it wisely. Like this weekend, I need to vacuum and do a little bit of laundry. I have a few samples from the new line of pure essentials I am dying to try out, lemon verbana sounds so enticing! And then, I need to do some serious grocery shopping. For me having a to do list is the only way to go.

I recently took a course on Time Management. The To-Do list is highly recommended. I have always used one and always will.

I like to write all my 'when I get the time' items all the same list. It's like a dream list. Things on this list are usually deeper cleanings, organizing etc. Stuff that's not necessarily a once a week chore, but more a once a month chore. Then on Sunday's I do at least one of those things. This way it spaces the odd stuff out and then it doesn't all pile up.
