The Blossoms Smile
The days of summer have passed once again... So soon it seems that I miss the the velvet-like blooms of my favorite rose, the fresh emerald green of the maidenhair fern, and the satisfaction that mother nature is the extreme master of all that is precious. To brighten a gray day I gently open an old heavy volume of the phonebook, there I can thumb through my collections of the past season and begin my winter mission of arranging all variety of pressed flowers into a miriad of artful displays that always give me pleasure to pass on to others. Over the years I have arranged seasonal wreaths (Large and Small) to adorn walls or gifts, cards, stationery, jewelry, curtains, and so much more! Are there any other like minded "garden fairies" flitting about?

Shashay, I long for my spring time garden also. I keep my memories by taking pictures of my garden and other gardens in San Diego County. I have a great collection now so if I'm feeling blue and wanting to see the joy of Mother Nature again I just go to My Pictures on my PC. I try to bring that joy to others durning the year by sharing my photos on greeting cards that I make with my "favorite rose" pictures. I use my photos that I have taken on my many trips and make cards for the congregation at church once a month and send a birthday card to each person that has a birthday that particular month. So there are many ways I get to share and see over and over agin all the beauty of spring and summer. If you like I would love to share some of my most cherished rose pictures with you. Judy

Oh I know, I can't believe the summer is over...and all my flowers are slowly withering away. But that's ok, there's always next year. What do you guys think of all these flowers? Aren't they so exotic?

As the summer flowers fade away and the leaves change day by day, I have been planning the look for the next suummer that is soon to come. I love brining in the pine cones drying them in the oven and useing them for fall decorations.

I love to pick up the Fall leaves that fall and use them as table decorations. I try to get maple leaves all all sizes and colors and put them in a bowl on the coffee table, gets me in the mood for the end of the year.
