When I see the entertainers that are out now I do not see anyone I would want my son or nieces to emulate. See when I was growing it was Tina Turner, Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross,Marvin Gaye, Al Greene, etc, etc, etc, the list goes on. The songs they sung back then were about happines in life, the low’s in life and the LOVE of their life. There was never any talk of killing each other, selling drugs and beating each other down over a man or a woman. Nor were there any songs about the Sexual Abuse of women as if it was a game or just something to do when you wake up in the morning. It was all about Unity, togetherness and LOVE, What happened to make Black People want to sing about killing each other, selling each other drugs and Sexually Abusing women as a way of life and joke about calling it entetainment.
I recently wrote an article about two videos by women artists (I choose to say women because only animals are identified by their sex when being spoken of). They are singing and rapping about beating the other woman their man cheated on them with. That is correct the two “women” made a video where they sing about how they are going to beat down the other woman and tell their man why they are better than the other woman. In one video titled “She Ain’t Got” this little girl (because only little girls will fight for a man who cheated on them) actually gives the guy a lap dance telling him how much better she is than the other woman. Breaking down all of her stats like how she can deal with his “baby mama”, and how she is a “ride or die” chick. All the great qualities a man is looking for in a “quality” woman. The other video is basic, the primary woman sees “the other” woman at a party they do a back forth and go outside where the primary woman clocks the other woman. Now get this while she is on the ground Li’L John comes over to her while she in on the groud, says something to her and then he stomps the woman. Wow, now they are promoting men to beat down on women. “Have yall lost yall ever lovin mind”. I am pissed me off to the highest of pistivity, this is not entertainment in any way shape or form. I am about to go old school on yall in a big way, someone should have done it a long time ago but money talks.
You are, you so called raggedy New Black Entertainers are what is ruining Black Folks in a big way and you need to be stopped. I am not about Censorship at all, I believe a person has the right to say whatever they want. If you do not like me then you do not like me I could care less, White Supremist can say all that they want about Black people as long as they do not affect my way of life. When that starts to happen then we have a problem, just last week three young White Supremist took it upon themselve to beat an older Black man that was wrong in a big way and they are in jail. There are many White Supremist artist that preach hate in their music and when something occurs and it can be traced back to a person or group that has preached to do what these people have done they are held responsible. Tom Metzger is jail now because of his Hate speech, what I would like to know Black people why is that we can get mad at White Supremist and all other Hate groups when they speak about violence against Black people and other group. But when these raggedy entertainers who are just as wrong sing about women beating down another woman because her man cheated on her is masked as entertainment how is that any different. Or what about these “Crappers”, who”Crap” about how they are these big time drug dealers and all and what they will do to their enemies and all, where is their repsonsibility in what they are saying.
There is no pass on it, wrong is wrong whether it is a White Supremist group singing about killing Black people or a “Crapper” saying he is going to take out his enemy for whatever reason. When are the Black people who peddle this “CRap” this HATE for its people are going to see what damage it has done to the African-American community. What is not funny is that if these communities you “CRap about were not what they are what would you “CRap” about? You actually need the community to stay as it is to get fodder for your music, isn’t that what yall say when someone ask’s you about where you get your lyrics from. The poor Black people who buy your cd’s, the same poor Black people you use in your videos but most likely are not paid anything other than the fact that they are in your video. You know, something to brag about when they at home and hear or see the video on the BET, “There I is”. T.I. how dare you corrupt the little boys in your one video where you have them give the camera the finger, wow some role model you. How much did you pay them to be in your video, are they in SAG, did you pay then union wages what? or did they get a pair of tennis shoes and props, what? I am just asking, you know why? I see these videos where you and Rick Ross (when is Octo Dad going to have his babies, hell maybe he got ten as big as he is) and others are in these down trodden Black neighborhoods talking to people, let me ask you this? Did you offer to help the town out, maybe start to renovate the dilapidated homes you show the people living in? You are pimping them for your video to prove your existence, wow big men you guys are.
You “Crappers” and other so called entertainers who think women are for their own personal use need to understand you are degrading somones daughter. Someones mother, you are degrading a human being and that needs to stop. I have a question for all of the Black “Crappers”? Do yall even like Black women anymore, you treat them like they are nothing more than sex object if there is one in your videos anymore. It is just sad to see, then you have the one who wants sing about getting some sex from a woman who is too drunk to say NO. No means No even when she can’t say it, what is going on with you Black men lately especially when you think being Pimp is the way to go.
When I read what happened to Maia Campbell my soul was hurt, I am trying to understand what type of animal would do this to a woman. As sad and hurt as I am I have seen it before when I watched the GEMS documentary “Girls For Sale” about girls as young as 11 forced into prostitution and how one woman in her kitchen said she was not going to allow it anymore. I heard three of the most disturbing things men have done to women in life when I had watched the video. The fourth is what that nasty bastard did to Maia Campbell.
