The first time I saw him, he was totally naked. He was also the most beautiful sight I had ever seen. I saw him again a couple of hours later when he was dressed and he was smiling and looking around the room full of people. I was sure I had caught his eye though, as he had mine. I felt the strongest sense of connection!
Within a week, we had shared a bed. He slept peacefully and quietly except for a couple of occasions when he would twitch, wake up, yawn, and want some attention and entertainment! That was fine with me because every moment with him was a treasure!
He loved it when I sang for him, and especially when I made up songs. He loved the beach and he loved the water. Like all males, he liked his share of toys too. He loved movies, particularly action films. Batman was his all time favorite. The hours we spent together were always too few.
We were together one evening at a restaurant having dinner and there was a pretty girl at a table next to ours. He flirted with her shamelessly. It didn’t really bother me though because I was so secure in my place in his heart, and his in mine.
We had our share of arguments and sometimes they turned unpleasant for both of us. Neither of us really wanted to hurt the other one, but we both just wanted to have things “our way.” But we always made up pretty fast. How could we not!
We had more than our share of secrets too! He told me not to tell anyone about his powers. I never have.
He has so much beauty, so much charm and he is brilliant too. I knew for certain that I would love him for the rest of my life. My grandson, Cyrus, will turn seventeen in about a month. Nothing has changed between us and it never will.
