Sour Cream Coffee Cake

Cake:

1 cup butter

2 cups sugar

2 eggs, beaten

1 cup sour cream

1 teaspoon vanilla

2 cups flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt



Cream together the butter and sugar. Add beaten eggs, sour cream, and vanilla. Stir in flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.



Topping:

1/2 cup chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts)

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

2 tablespoons brown sugar



Mix topping ingredients together. Pour half of batter in a greased and floured bundt pan. Sprinkle half of topping mixture on batter. Add remaining batter and top with rest of topping mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour.



Glaze:

Powdered sugar with just a few drops of milk (It should be thin enough to pour over coffee cake.)
