8 Surefire Ways to Awaken Bridezilla
Even though I didn't go all Bridezilla on anyone (really, I didn't), there were certain things that left me fuming and spouting off, in spite of my best intentions to keep it cool. Thankfully, I've wasn't one of those women who obsessed over every tiny detail of my wedding, yet as a detail-oriented person, I had a mental map of how I wanted it all to go. What I didn't factor in was how guests would find a way to push my buttons with even the smallest (and sometimes innocent) actions. So if you're attending a wedding during this busy season, listen up—help the bride keep her sanity, and DO NOT do any of these things (seriously, don't).
Invite Another Person
Remember how plates are, like, $80 a person? Great, well that’s why it's never okay to bring a date on your own accord. Before the wedding, the bride scoured her list of family and friends, and she painfully narrowed it down to those who were important enough to be there. Apparently, you were lucky enough to make the list, but your random hookup or BFF was not. Unless you’re given a plus one, don’t bring someone. Not only is it rude (so, so rude), but they also won’t have a chair or anything to eat, and you can say goodbye to your friendship with the bride or groom.
