Overthinking It?

Okay, here goes … so, I’ve started dating again. It’s been fun and I have met some good guys, one of which stands out. We met online and spoke for a couple months. We went on our first date on December 3, and we had a good time. The following day he texted and said he had a great time and wanted to take me out again. With our schedules and with both of us having children, we have to plan ahead. Our next date is mid January. We randomly talk and text, but something irritates me and I’m not sure if I’m just making a big deal out of nothing or if I should say something. When we talk its great and he’s into the conversation, but when we text he’ll text and then just stop. I know the conversation has to come to an end, but it never seems to stop at the right time. Hard to explain but it’s not like I’m texting him for hours; it’s just a couple—whether he starts the conversation or I do—and then just no response. It’s irritating. Does this possibly show loss of interest or am I overthinking it? Maybe he just isn’t into texting. Like I said before, when we actually have conversation it’s fun and interesting, but when we text it just comes to a sudden stop. Now one time before he actually said he felt like he was interrupting/ bothering me sometimes. (Can’t remember his exact words but something along those lines.) I am a student, I work full-time, I coach, and I’m a mom, so I get it, but when he mentioned it I told him I enjoy talking with him, not to feel that way, and if I was ever unavaliable or too busy that I would just let him know, so I don’t know where he got it from aside from assuming. Okay, so it’s not a big deal, but should I say that it bothers me? Thanks in advance for your advice.
