Dear Tech Support,
I uninstalled both the Husband v1.0 and Boyfriend v5.0 applications from my computer.
I found that the Husband 1.0 application didn’t do what it was supposed to do, and when I needed to use it (which wasn’t really that often now that I think about it), it wasn’t a trustworthy application. When I would try to open it on my computer, only half the program was available and most of the features like Compliments v1.0 or Hereletmehelpyou v6.5 were disabled. It took me eight years, but I finally figured out how to delete it off my computer.
Unfortunately, when Husband 1.0 was uninstalled, Dad v1.0 was also uninstalled. I think this has to do with the auto install of Wife v2.0 and Midlifecrisis v1.0 but I can’t be sure.
While the uninstall of Husband 1.0 has deleted a few bundled programs like Sex v5.5 (which was a lousy program to begin with) and PlentyofMoney v10.5, I don’t really mind not having those apps on my computer as I’ve been able to have more memory for the install of Selfsufficient v12.0 and Youarein chargenow v4.0. Dad 1.0 has disabled several of my computers entertainment and finance features like Freetime v2.0 and Accuratechildsupport v1.0. But I think over time those features won’t be as important as I thought.
As far as Boyfriend 5.0 goes—I installed it once, but it didn’t perform as advertised. Well, Sex v5.5 performed just fine, but the Commitment v1.0 didn’t perform consistently. One day it would sort of work and the next day it wouldn’t even boot up. I’ve uninstalled Boyfriend 5.0 and am going to have to wait until the bugs are fixed. I may be waiting a long time as that program will not be upgraded as long as I’m running my Parenting programs at the same time.
Right now I am running parenting programs Daughter v16.0, Son v18.0, and Son v20.0. Those are challenging, intriguing, and entertaining programs, and every day I learn something new. My computer is really glitchy when I use Daughter 16.0 and has crashed a few times when I’ve been using Son 18.0. That was a real pain in the you know what trying to restore all those files I lost. Now that I think about it, I’m not really sure what the program Son 20.0 does but I know it’s installed on my computer and runs in the background. I find I have to upgrade these apps each year to a newer version so the cost is high to maintain them. The program claims there is a big payoff when version 25.0 and higher is installed. I hope so.
To prevent my computer from future crashes, I’ve installed Dogs 7.0, Horses 24.0, and Cats 8.0. These programs run perfect every time. They do not slow down my computer, they are reliable and don’t cost much to maintain. I would recommend them to everyone. I have had these programs for a long time and when everything else on my computer crashes and glitches, these do not. Amen for that.
Oh, one other program I run is Family 10.0. It’s basically my personal operating system and keeps all the other programs running as smoothly as possible. I love this program and will always have it installed on my computer. It has some really cool updates I just came across like Timetogotocollege v1.0, Emptynest v1.0, and Travel v7.0. I am in the process of installing all of those but its been months and the install is still going. I’ve tried rebooting my computer, deleting other files like Allowance v1.0, Food v1.0, and Gaming v3.0 in order to create more memory, but the install is still going on. I think I just have to have a little more patience and see what happens.
Anyway, I would love to beta test your app called Future v1.0. I understand it wipes your hard drive clean and allows you to select what programs you want and which ones you don’t. That would be awesome as I’m finding that my memory is running low on my computer and I need to create more space for the programs I love and delete the programs that slow things down. Keep me posted.
