BCBG's Spring 2014 collection was all about simplicity—from the minimal makeup to the deconstructed pieces right down to the tonal music playing on the runway. Snakeskin is going to be a big trend for spring 2014. At BCBG MAX AZRIA, snakeskin popped up in panels on skirts, jacket pockets, and on sleek tote bags. These catwalk creations also contained an element of surprise—sort of a "business in the front, party in the back" vibe. The collection had a menswear-inspired feel, but reconstrcuted and destroncuted in the most feminine of ways: with the most lightweight of fabrics, peekaboo sheer panels, and in the prettiest of prints in watercolor hues. It's a collection that is rack-ready and easily wearable for the every girl.
