Happy Earth Month! Every year I revel in how far environmentally conscious beauty has come, from homemade hemp soap to the high-end, high-performance products we enjoy today. Here’s a look at the all-natural finds that will stay on my vanity long after April 22.
ILIA Lipstick ($24) – Highly pigmented, beautifully textured, and in ultra-flattering covetable shades, this 85% certified-organic lip care line proves that natural and high-performance need not be mutually exclusive.
Intelligent Nutrients Plant Stem Cell Renewal Complex ($55) – Leave it to Horst to grow plant cells with antioxidant concentrations up to 1,000 times that of plants in nature. He bottled those antioxidants in to prevent and treat multiple signs of aging, including my sun spots and dullness.
CleanWell All-Natural Hand Sanitizer ($3) – No more gloppy gels and harsh alcohol! This purse-sized spritz relies on herbs like thyme to naturally sanitize without drying or irritating skin.
Sircuit Cosmeceuticals X-Trap Daily Gentle Face Wash ($38) – This daily gentle face wash deep cleanses without stripping, smells like a spa, and removes makeup—all without the use of sodium laurel sulfate, parabens, or synthetics.
Weleda Skin Food ($18.50) – One of my biggest beauty pet peeves? Hand creams that don’t deliver. This super-rich, plant-oil based cream does in spades, without leaving skin greasy.
RMS Beauty Living Luminizer ($38) – Adds just the right amount of sheen when pressed along cheekbones and bridge of the nose, minus the sparkle and synthetic ingredients.
Kahina Giving Beauty Eye Serum ($78) – A cooling, hydrating cocktail that encourages lymphatic drainage and boosts microcirculation. It’s my favorite step each morning and one of the few eye treatments that actually diminish dark circles.
One Love Organics Skin Savior Waterless Beauty Balm ($68) – This rich, oil-based multitasker cleanses, moisturizes and gives skin supermodel dewiness. It’s my everything.
