More day three of New York Fashion Week coverage! This afternoon, Mara Hoffman. Thirteen years after stylist Patricia Field discovered Mara Hoffman in the streets of New York City—Field stopped her to compliment her outfit—the designer is still creating successful collections full of her signature colorful prints and patterns. In the spring 2014 collection, we saw everything from her coveted patterned maxi dresses to bold cutout swimsuits. Thrown into the mix were crop tops, jumpsuits, coverups, and jackets. The show had an overall tribal-boho feeling with models sporting knee-length ponytail braids with patterned fabric ties. The Mara Hoffman show reinforces trends we're seeing for spring 2014—bright hues, cutouts, and flowy silhouettes. This show left us dreaming about our next tropical getaway, decked out in Mara Hoffman spring 2014 of course!
