Jason Wu hit New York Fashion Week with a softer side this year. He did away with the power suits of his recent past and focused instead on fluid forms, unstructured safari-type suits with flap pockets, and lingerie-inspired looks. To match his more romantic clothing, makeup artist Diane Kendal for Lancome created a sophisticated shimmering face. Kendal chose glittering gold and bronze eyes as the focal point of Wu's spring 2014 runway look, adding a bit of glamour to natural skin and nude lips.
On the Eyes:
These smoky gold and bronze eyelids were created by using Le Crayon Khol in Black Coffee and Color Design Eye Brightening All-in-One 5 Pan Shadow & Liner.
On the Skin:
For the clean and flawless look, Kendal started with DreamTone Skin Correcting Serum. She also applied Teint Visionnaire Skin Correcting Duo, and to really brighten up the skin under the eyes, Kendal applied Effacernes Waterproof Protective Undereye Concealer. For that natural rosy glow on the cheeks, Kendal used Blush Subtil in Cedar Rose.
On the Lips:
To mimic the natural bare lip, Kendal used Baume in Love in Rose in Love.
