Target Partners with PETER PILOTTO for Spring 2014 Collection

Target reeled in another great name for Spring 2014. PETER PILOTTO is teaming up with Target for a capsule collection available Feb. 9, 2014. PETER PILOTTO is known for their innovative designs and complex and colorful prints.

The London-based designers, Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos, will create roughly 70 items ranging in price from $14.99 to $79.99 for apparel and swimwear pieces, and accessories ranging in price from $16.99 to $39.99. Pieces that are sure to be a hit are chic dresses, skirts, and mix-and-match swimwear.

The designers’ original pieces are sold on NET-A-PORTER.COM and will feature the designs created for Target for an international audience. “By working with Target, we’re able to broaden our reach and bring our design aesthetic to an entirely new audience,” says Peter Pilotto in a press release.

The spring collection will capture the essence that PETER PILOTTO is known for: complex and colorful prints, use of different textiles, and sculptural shapes and draping. The designs and prints aren’t the only attention-grabbing aspect of their designs. The collection will be composed using bold blue and green hues and warm reds and oranges, adding to the line’s eclectic aesthetic.

Target is proud to announce its collaboration with designers who know how to express a place or person’s energy through fashion design. “Peter and Christopher have a rare talent for capturing the essence and energy of London in a way that’s completely universal in its appeal,” says Trish Adams, senior vice president of apparel and accessories for Target, in a press release.
