What Do You Think of Pink, Purple, and Blue Hair Hues?

These days, no hair color is out of the question. I’m not just seeing blondes, brunettes and reds on the streets, I’m seeing everything from pail cotton candy pink-to neon green. I love that you can be punk with colors that really pop, or more subtle with the pastel tones. Rihanna was cherry red, Lady Gaga did highlighter yellow, and Willow Smith currently has a bubblegum pink shaved ’do. Katy Perry and Nicki Minaj have done all those and more, and as for Cyndi Lauper, she's had every color of the rainbow on her head at one point or another.

If you are going for it—like, really going for it—you’ll probably want to use Manic Panic. They have every color you can think of and the colors last a long time.

If you are like me and are feeling spontaneous but can’t commit to drastic change, you can try the Kevin Murphy Color Bugs. They are chalk-like colors that you can rub into your hair for a temporary change. However, they only work on light hair, and they wash out in one shampoo. I’ve used the purple and pink for random strands a few times and love them! I think they’re such a great idea. But beware—they rub off onto light clothes!

What do you all think of the colorful hair trend?
