Life can be simple, fun, and rewarding. Sometimes we walk through life blind to the things that really matter. We allow our jobs to define who we are when in reality a job can never define us. Who would you be if you quit your job tomorrow? What is your purpose? If tomorrow was your last day on earth, what would people say about you? Would you leave a legacy?
Daily we work harder to gain more things, allowing things to control our life, increasing debt. Life plays tricks on us, making our minds feel that, if we get that new car, the pain of unhappiness will pass. The accumulation of things is a temporary fix for unhappiness. The only thing that will truly make you happy is finding your life’s purpose. Once you find your life’s purpose, you will realize that you have everything you need. Turn off the television for an hour a day and sit in silence. Meditate on the life that you desire and see positive things in the world.
Be grateful for the things you have in your life. Walk daily with courage and find your inner strength.
So how do you find your happiness? The answer is pretty simple: “Ask for wisdom.”
