Laundry: Cycle of Daily Torture

Laundry, one of Merriam-Webster’s definitions for this fabulous word is: clothes or linens that have been or are to be laundered.
I think I would like to submit a new definition to Merriam-Webster if you please. Laundry: cycle of daily torture without which your family would stink, be mocked, and your children would be removed from your home by the government never to return. HA—there!
Why do I hate laundry so? I think I hate it more than cleaning toilets. I guess because it seems never ending. As soon as you get it all done there is more. Even though it really is an easy task, it drives me crazy! My laundry will sit there for days, unfolded, and we will just pick through it. Typical scenario, “Mom, where are my jeans?” “Look on the couch where all the laundry has been for four days.” Pitiful huh?
What is my deal? I just hate folding laundry! It is so boring and monotonous! I know it really would be simple if I just did it while watching TV right, but I don’t. And I wonder why I get so angry when I can’t find clothes that are needed for my family … because they are all in a pile on the couch instead of put away you nut! Oh, the decisions we make. Okay, okay, okay … new goal … fold the laundry! Hummm, can I fold the laundry and re-read Twilight at the same time? Maybe this should not be called blogging but processing.
Laundry, laundry everywhere,
Laundry, laundry I don’t care,
Laundry, laundry you make me think,
Laundry, laundry, eh just let my family stink.
