It was Wednesday morning and D&D Engineering was buzzing. Dexter had arrived at the office early to get all of the necessary paperwork together with Human Resources and to go over a few key points with Damon prior to the meeting. When Pam saw him coming out of the conference room, she stopped dead in her tracks along with his assistant and they both were like … Daaammmnnn. Dexter was dressed in a charcoal gray three-piece suit with thin pinstriped blue checks, a blue power shirt that matched the checks perfectly and those navy blue Stacey Adams that Pam had been trying to get her husband to buy. With a fresh haircut, and matching handkerchief and tie to top it off, was just enough to send these two into a frenzy. He was just hoping he’d get the same reaction from Abigail.
Dexter looked at the clock and it was just about lunchtime, as Damon was concluding some thoughts and wrapping things up. Dexter was slow to rise. With his most recent thoughts, he knew he needed to calm himself down a bit before getting up, but it did no good because when Abigail got up to follow Damon out of the conference room she backed up against the table, which sent Dexter’s hormones into hysterics over observing how her butt knocked up against the table. Thoughts of her undergarments came into play and he wondered how excited they were to have the privilege of being next to her skin. He knew she wasn’t a granny panty supporter. Abigail looked more along the lines of lace and thongs. Just thinking about it sent overactive sensations straight to his manhood.
Dexter knew he had to stop her and see why there had been such a lack of communication between them. The room was quiet as everyone was filing out so the unexpected baritone voice of Dexter jarred everyone.
“Miss Deverou, may I have a word with you, please…?”
