Sorry—I know it’s the new healthier alternative to roasting in the sun or jumping in a tanning bed but do people check themselves after these applications? Yeah—it’s really none of my business what others do—but I don’t know—to me you just look silly if you look more like a distant relative to a carrot than someone with a healthy glow! Naturally I’m just about as pasty as they come—but I just use a light bronzer—even in the summer! I don’t feel the need to be ten shades darker just because it’s about to be summertime.
In my area we have a local magazine and website of event pix and whatnot and I was actually looking through them a day or so ago and came across a picture of an older woman who I used to work with. She was orange! And then I kept going through more pictures from the same event and every other person had the “road cone” glow! I give people credit for going with a healthier alternative—but what looks worse someone who is normal or someone who looks like they just bathed in carrot juice for twelve hours? I know it’s summer and people just want glow—but the orange thing is TOO MUCH!
