Tribute to Marlo Thomas

This article is a tribute to one of my favorite people, “Marlo Thomas.” Marlo is best remembered for her role as Ann Marie on the popular show “That Girl.” This was an ABC and Daisy Productions television show, which aired from 1966 to 1971.
Marlo portrayed an actress, with incredible moral fiber, “Ann Marie,” struggling to make a career, in a changing New York City. In the show she often encountered the male chauvinist type, who tried to take advantage of her looks and kindness. She made short work of them, dispatching them with ease, and yet with grace.
I have been told by men and woman alike, that I have excellent taste in women. That said, I feel that Marlo Thomas was easily, one of the most beautiful women I ever seen, especially during the 60’s and 70’s.
I can provide a litany of reasons why I have always been in love with this wonderful lady. She is very kind, funny, highly intelligent, just an all around great person. Today she spends much of her time helping others, a fitting chapter to an incredible career.
Recently some friends and I were discussing women. We were asked to vote on the woman of our dreams. It was one of those guy things! I chose Marlo Thomas. As of this writing, I have discovered, not one man, who disagrees with me. It is not just because she is pretty, sexy and attractive, but her personality is just amazing. She could bring you to tears with laughter, and seconds later make you feel as if you were the only man alive! Marlo gave us many years of wonderful entertainment. I wish her all the best.
