A couple of weeks ago I wrote a blog about how some things in life feel “to good to be true.” When I mentioned my “aha” moment in a couple of Facebook groups a woman responded how true this was and how it was due to the law of reversed effort. Now I LOVE universal law. I find it fascinating so I of course began my research immediately.
I believe this is one of the main reasons why most people fail with diets and extreme exercise. We are all building law books inside of us from the minute we are born. These come mostly from our parents and they come without our choice. From the ages zero to seven we are basically walking unconscious minds which means everything around us just goes in without checking it’s validation in our life. As a result we grow up by these laws that we aren’t really aware of.
So now here we are adults, and someone says “Oh you have a weight problem, well you need to eat less and move more”. For some reason that is either the hardest thing in the world for you to do, or you are doing it and it’s not working. For me, my body never responded to anything remotely close to a diet.
The Law of Reversed Effort notices your efforts towards your weight loss goal, checks in with the handbook and if it something in there says; “I am meant to be overweight” or “I don’t deserve to be thin” or “It’s hard to lose weight” or even “I am too busy to lose weight”, the mind takes your efforts on with resistance. Therefore the harder you try, the more resistance you get. Ever feel this way? This is why I lost weight lying on the couch unable to move, I finally let go. My body already knew how to lose weight and I began living my life to the fullest.
I am sure you have let go of trying to lose weight many times. The problem is you may not have replaced it with anything. This is why I help people move towards the life of their dreams. This isn’t met with resistance because it’s a true desire, the universe will support you. If you have limiting beliefs, I help you to remove them so you can flow. Most importantly, you need to define what this new identity is because as far as your body is concerned your identity is “chronic dieter.”
You can change your identity to match the life you truly desire because it’s already inside of you ready to be lived. My mission is to remove the identity “chronic dieter” off the planet for good.
