A tromping she did go,
Through the rubble and the snow.
Trying to find peace of mind…
Something she left far behind.
A mess of her world she seemed to have made…
One that simply would not fade.
As she sat on the dock,
She picked up a rock,
And clutched it as tight as she could,
Then proceeded to do what she knew she should.
She sent anger and fear
Into the rock she held near.
As the tears began to fall,
She continued with the ritual.
The rock was cast far out to sea.
She was finally free,
As the sea swallowed up her misery.
