Sniff, sniff…no ladies, it’s not your allergies acting up, it’s summer days slowly slipping into cool, Autumn afternoons.
Flip flops and cut off jeans will soon be a thing of the past and you’ll find yourself adding a few more layers of clothing and covering up those tootsies.
To help you glide flawlessly into Fall, I’ve put together a list of this season’s hottest shoe trends to keep you one step ahead…get it? Seasonal pun intended.
First on the list are ladies’ loafers. That’s right, no longer just for silver-haired retirees, the loafer has been girl-ified!
Soft silhouettes and pretty bows paired with the right outfit make for one hip shoe. Try skinny jeans and a ruffled blouse. It’s the perfect combination for making this androgynous style a little more girly.
Another huge hit this season is metallic flats. A perfect example of this is the Naturalizer Maude in Platino Metallic. This classic twist on a kick is trendy and comfortable thanks to Naturalizer’s N5 Comfort System.
And with the change in seasons comes a few downpours, but rather than singing “Rain, rain, go away” you’ll be asking it stay! I bet you can already guess what I’m getting at…
A Boot Made For Puddles
Yep, the rain boot is making its sophomore debut into your shoe closet. The perfect staple for you is the Hunter Rain Boot. A stylish, latex rain boot fitted with extra foot padding for your comfort and offered in several different colours and designs makes this particular brand a winner.
Though I wasn’t a fan of this style a few years ago, it has definitely grown on me. I chalk it up to my growing wisdom and my firm belief that wet toes are a no, no!
For all those sunny, crisp Fall days you are going to want to rock a sexy pair of thigh high boots. From flats to heels there’s a little bit of something for everyone. From riding inspired flats to the sky high heeled Diba Wow Za , you can dominate this look with skinny jeans or leggings. Pair them with a cute top or even a knit dress and turn some heads!
Being a high heel loving lady myself, it’s time I talk to you about this seasons heel trends.
Two major fashions are going to be dominating the racks; color-blocking and the return of the pointed toe. Hanging in there from summer will be bold colours and funky prints as well.
These brazen fashions will take the classic pump to the next level. Of course, the best part of this trend is how hot it will look with that LBD – yep , the Little Black Dress. Nothing makes an LBD pop more than a hot pair of heels!
From phat flats, to bangin’ boots and hot heels these Fall fashions come with some serious sole. Now you have absolutely no excuse to not sizzle during these chillier months.
