I only wished it was a beer, Sigh!
Post the break-up, I was pushing myself to move on, and I must admit, I handled it pretty well. I reconciled with my family, friends and most important – MYSELF. Some instances, relationships, people teach you a lesson of a lifetime. I had learnt my lesson and was glad about that.
Staring at my monitor, I see a pop up reminder of a guest lecture I had registered for. The lecture was by Dr.Sonal Mansingh – a Padma Bhushana award winner, eminent Indian classical dancer and choreographer proficient in various Indian classical dancing styles. For the benefit of the readers, the Padma Bhushan is the third highest civilian award in the Republic of India, after the Bharat Ratna and the Padma Vibhushan. It is awarded by the Government of India.
Never the less, I hit ctrl+alt+delete and start walking towards the room where this inspirational speech was organised.The speech lasted for little over two hours, and was by far the BEST inspirational talks I have ever attended. Suddenly the power of endurance and the ability to roll with the punches seemed to be of utmost importance, and I knew I had to just move further blindly.
She spoke about her entire journey from childhood to adolescence, to growing up to relationships, to career and to all her ups and downs. Every word she uttered instilled faith and love in me..
The speech did end, but it left me in a state of interrogation. The only answer I could derive was to take my Vitamins: Vitamin A for Action, Vitamin B for Belief, Vitamin C for Confidence, Vitamin D for Discipline, Vitamin E for Enthusiasm..
I knew if i had the right intake of these vitamins I could be the best, do the best and get the best!
It sure was the end and a new beginning, at the same time!!
