It seems like over the last two years, flower crowns are everywhere. Magazine editorials, music videos, and on brides instead of veils.
 
When someone says the name Lana Del Rey, my mind goes to her gorgeous floral head pieces first, then her lips, then her music. I've done searches for her and it seems like most of the images that show up are of her wearing some ridiculously beautiful floral headpiece. In some of them she is wearing high waisted shorts and some are more dressed up with an evening gown. It has me wanting to wear one in every color and with every outfit.
 
I've made some before with silk flowers, and even though in pictures they look pretty real, I still would like to try my hand at making a crown with fresh flowers. It seems a little trickier than just using some wire and green tape.
 
What do you think about flower crowns? Is it something you'd wear just out for a day, or would you feel too costumey?
