You guys, I have a whole new appreciation for eye makeup now since I just spent two weeks going without it because I have apparently developed a crazy allergy to my usual lash tint and both eyes turned bright red and swelled shut after I got it done. Needless to say, it was a horrible two weeks and I’ll never be tinting any part of my lashes again. But at least it did cause me to remember how much I love eye makeup because seeing all the fun shades sitting in my bathroom and not being able to use them in the morning was terrible. I was like, shaking with excitement to try out some of the new ones I’d gotten, so when I finally (FINALLY!) was able to put my contacts back in this morning, I immediately reached for the new LORAC PRO Palette .
People have been raving about this palette online and I can finally see why. It’s really fabulous – and a staple that everyone should own because I promise you, you’ll get a ton of use out of it whether you’re someone who wears very little makeup or someone who likes to experiment with a bunch of different looks. LORAC has packed a whopping sixteen shades into the palette and yet somehow managed to keep it very thin and sleek so it’s easily packable, which is my main issue with a lot of palettes that have a large number of shades in them. This one will fit in pretty much any bag you own without a problem and leave you plenty of room for even more makeup. (Always important!)
The shades themselves run the gamut from White to Slate, with the majority of them being shades in the brown/nude family. It’s a great palette for neutral looks, but you can definitely also give yourself a brown smoky eye or a grey/black one with the shades that are included, plus there’s a gorgeous Deep Purple shade that lets you play around with that color family a little. And unlike most palettes with this many shades, the shadows themselves don’t suffer in quality – they’re buttery soft and easily blendable and stick around all day when you use them over the mini Behind the Scenes Eye Primer that’s also included. At only $42, you kind of can’t afford NOT to get it. It’ll save you a lot of money if you like to buy a bunch of new shades every season, so get yourself to the nearest store that carries it and snatch this one up!
