My dog Sleepy (a chihuahua/terrier mix) gets itchy in the winter, I think in part because I have very drying forced hot air heat. To help remedy his constant scratching, I began feeding him Authority Brand Skin and Coat treats. I am no vet, but I can see a real difference in the amount of scratching he does, and in the sheen of his fur. A 10 oz bag was about $10, and appears to contain perhaps 100 morsels. You feed the one morsel per day per ten pounds of weight. The flagged ingredients are lamb, sunflower oil, and antioxidants -- I am not a vet but they did the trick for Sleepy. It took a couple of weeks to see a difference, but I am very happy aI tried this product. Sleepy is too!
