I served on the board of The Athens Tutorial Program for two years. A non-profit in Athens, Ga., ATP is dedicated to providing academic assistance and personal growth opportunities to children in grades K-12 who have not had as many opportunities in life as others.
It is a fantastic example of a community coming together to enrich young lives, and I highly recommend it as a place to volunteer. It is well organized, and the kids are great!
