I was wracking my brain, trying to figure out what to get as favors for my daughter's first birthday party. I didn't want to spend much and I need to find something fun, that babies wouldn't choke on. Then, it hit me. There are these little plastic maracas that I had seen used in a neighborhood sing along at the local coffee shop. I was able to find them at our local toy store in Brooklyn for less than two bucks each. Bonus, they come in different colors and pair nicely with a sing-along!
