Seventh Generation Fabric Softener makes my clothes smell wonderful without being overly perfumy. I prefer "natural lavender scent," though they may have other scents, too. Like most fabric softeners, it gets rid of static cling and softens my clothes. Unlike so many softeners, Seventh Generation does not harm the environment . It does not have any harmful dyes that cause skin irritation, it's non-toxic, and is not tested on animals. Plus, it's good for the earth, being both safe for septic and greywater systems. No petroleum is used and, yes, you can recycle the container.

I am soooooooooo alergic smelling hay...ok, so that is the theme song to "Green Acres"...if you are a Baby Boomer you would know that. I wish I could use faric softeners...but I am alergic to almost all soaps...about the only one that doesn't send me to sneeze and waterly eye cloud 13, is Arm and Hammer products...the unsented of course! I was reading a report the other day about had bad they were for people. All of those smells...putting your face on them all night...wearing them around...it wasn't positive! I have a friend whose clothes, I can not even be around because they smell like...I don't know...to me they stink and make me sneeze, eyes water and nose run...she has really bad alergies and so does her daughter and when I told her one of the reasons why, you would have though that I had a BIG snake on my head!
