“Pharmaceutical grade crystals polish away dead skin cells leaving skin radiant. these diamond shaped crystals exfoliate evenly without scratching or irritating the skin while smoothing fine lines and wrinkles and improving the overall texture of the skin.”— drbrandtskincare.com

I always love trying new skin products, so when NewBeauty released their latest Beauty Box, I had to get it. I have ALWAYS been a fan of Dr. Brandt. Pores No More is my favorite product, but I always wanted to try the microdermabrasion. Luckily, it was included. It left my skin feeling clean and smooth. The crystals slough off dead skins cells, and exfoliate the skin evenly. It’s great to use before applying skincare and makeup, because it works as a great skin prep. Make sure to only use it once or twice a week (allow 3 days between treatments); skin needs time to regenerate. It is pricy, but well worth it. If there is a Borders near you, see if they have the latest Beauty Book (green box). That way, for $20.00, you can have the magazine and 6 – 7 samples of product, including the microdermabrasion.

Benefits:

  • enhances the penetration of other treatment products.

Yes, it is pricey...way too pricey. I would stick with Neutrogene dembrasion kit, available at Target. Does the same job ( i.e. exfoliation) for one third of a price :-)
