This past summer was HOT, HOT, HOT as it usually is in North Carolina and I was having to get creative finding fun outdoor activities for my ten month old son to do. I had taken him to the pool a couple of times before, but being the independent minded child that he is, he just became agitated when I wouldn’t let him just “dive in” the water. Trying to hold him in the water just turned into a wrestling match.
As much as he loves water it was clear that I needed a solution. Apparently our nanny had recognized this problem as well because one day she came in with this adorable baby float. Very easy to put together—just blow up the outer ring and drop him into the very comfy drop-down seat. I thought the float held him up very well and he seemed to like how he could prop himself by the arms on the float. The best part of course is the canopy which provides ample protection from the sun. Nice and shaded underneath, Elijah had a blast kicking and splashing. Definitely one of the best “finds” yet!
