Brand:Playskool
Product:Let’s Play Together Peek and Play Discovery Dome

Our son received this activity dome for Christmas 2006 from my father and stepmother when he was just four months old. Despite his not yet being able to really support himself sitting up I went ahead and put it together. I have to say I’m not the most mechanically inclined so I was anticipating that I’d have to call for Jay to help me, but to my surprise I found it fairly easy to put together and the instructions generally clear.

Full of many different activities, this dome encourages development of numerous skills. I also appreciated the “Lets Play Together tip card” which gave lots of great ideas for playing together with your child. Initially, we propped Elijah up with his boppy pillow or just laid him down inside the tent and he seemed to enjoy just looking at all the toys dangling in front of him or batting at them. The thing I really like about this toy is how he doesn’t outgrow it - as he develops he just finds new ways to play with it. Now at nineteen months he loves to “park” his push cars inside it or sit inside it with a book. And as always he loves to play “peek-a-boo” with me through the mesh walls of the dome.
